Unleash Innovation

Is it just me, or does it seem that every day leaders are being asked to change, come up with new ideas, pivot, innovate. The last few years have been crammed with demands and it is exhausting. Some of us are naturally gifted innovators and wake at 6am bright and early with the new way to solve global issues. That’s not me.

My mornings look a little different…

I am more inclined to wake slowly, reconsider the call to leading what I lead, convince myself today will be a good day… and then, after my morning coffee, I gather my team. I am surrounded with innovative and gifted leaders and my secret is this: if I can resource them and encourage them in all their ‘giftedness’ then we will go further and stay longer.

The more we gather, collaborate and combine our superpowers, the more innovative our organisations and churches will be. You don’t need heaps of people – one other person over a coffee can release all sorts of creative ideas. We are just better together.

So, go find your team and unleash innovation. You can do this.
