Noddy grew up in the Highlands of Papua New Guinea. His dad was a pilot providing services and transport to isolated communities. After losing his dad to cancer, Noddy moved to Australia. At eighteen years of age, Noddy pursued a career as a professional golfer and had the privilege of teaching and playing full time for seven years.
