Yes! While it is not likely to have a lot of people in your immediate area, most women are happy to join a zoom cohort and excited to get started. We can filter by a few factors (faith, level of leadership, etc). Reach out to your Regional Leader.

Our Policy Regarding Images: All pictures and stories released to the WLN for general use in emails, social media posts, etc. will be authorized by the participants beforehand.

The WLN is an initiative of the GLN. All content used in WLN cohorts are talks that the GLN has presented at the Global Leadership Summit each year. The WLN encourages each cohort to attend the annual Global Leadership Summit together in their local communities, as a way to boost leadership development, connection and relationship.

This will be up to your Group Leader, and each group will vary on how they deliver their GLS Local. Most groups will want to host a one-day event however, you could choose to hold it over two half-days, several evenings (spread over multiple weeks), or take longer discussion times and host your Summit across two-days.

These talks have been specifically chosen for women in leadership and are accessible at any time for WLN cohorts.
Coaching and connection
Every cohort leader will have regular coaching meetings with WLN staff/Key volunteers to assist in the formation and implementation of their cohort. In addition, each leader is part of the WLN global community of women leaders and will have the opportunity to meet with women from all over the worlds.

Content discussion and next steps: 15 minutes (This time is for discussion around next steps based on the content shared/specific leadership challenges the group is facing and prayer).

You can download any talk from the GLS.now mobile app. It will stay on your device for 7 days, and then disappear (this helps protect our GLS content and adhere to speaker contracts).

A WLN cohort is a group of women leaders (all sectors – church, nonprofit, education, business, etc.) who gather together for the purpose of empowering, equipping and releasing one another to lead well in the areas that God has called them to. Cohorts are encouraged to meet regularly, approximately 8 to 12 times per year, either in person or online, with ongoing communication/gatherings in between as needed and desired. The goal of the group is to connect, build relationships and learn and grow together in leadership ability and calling. As part of a global network, local cohorts can connect with cohorts around the world in order to to build global understanding of women in leadership. Finally, cohorts are encouraged to develop an outreach or serving element so that they can have transformational impact in their communities.

A cohort is a group of women leaders who commit to meeting regularly for the purpose of identifying, empowering, equipping and releasing each other in leadership. Using GLS videos, the cohort will learn and discuss leadership principles together, while developing relationships and building a support network.

Having registered for GLS Business, you may choose to present the GLS Business free of charge or pass on an appropriate fee for the purpose of enhancing the attendee experience (to cover costs such as catering, production and printing materials).

We have gathered exceptional content from a range of world-class speakers. These speakers are reviewed annually and the GLS Enterprise is updated with fresh content each year.

GLS Enterprise consists of 20+ items of video content and supporting resources, each exploring a different leadership theme. You can present material at staff training days and team retreats, or at shorter gatherings such as team meetings or lunch & learn sessions throughout the year.

A collection of 25 to 30 GLN videos are provided for WLN cohort use. Cohort leaders are able to choose from these videos and determine the order and type of content they would like to present in their cohort. Each video also has accompanying discussion questions for use during each cohort meeting. New content is added each year, in August.

Upon registering, you gain immediate access to present content at a time that best suits you and your organisation!

Shortly after registering for GLS Enterprise, you will receive access to all pre-recorded speaker and event content. The Content Vault contains 20 x speaker videos of various lengths between 5-40 minutes in length. You will also receive access to an Online Toolkit to support your event (helpful promotional and production materials) as well as speaker notes to assist you facilitate powerful personal reflection and dynamic group discussion.

The GLS Local Group Leader will receive all pre-recorded speaker and event content (4 video session files) on 3 October 2025.

The Group Leader will receive correspondence from GLN Aus & NZ which in turn they will communicate to their group.

All cohort members need to hold a leadership position in business, non-profit, church or other sectors. Cohorts are specifically designed for women leaders, distinguishing itself from women’s ministries or women’s small groups.

Winners will be announced in August, 2025.
