What You Could Win:
- National Recognition – Your video will be featured in a Next Gen short film showcased in schools across Australia and New Zealand.
- Next Gen Prize – The first-place winner will receive a $500 prize pack to celebrate their achievement.
- Socials Recognition – Next Gen will feature chosen entrants to be featured on their social platforms.

Competition opens April 1, 2025. Applications close July 31, 2025.
Winners will be announced in September. Earn national recognition and inspire other students.

Challenge Rules:
Eligibility
Open to High School students across Australia and New Zealand.
Video Duration
Up to a maximum of 60 seconds.
Submission Deadline
Submit your video by July 31, 2025.
Content Guidelines
The video should demonstrate you taking on a challenge, making a hard choice, or leading in a way that benefits others. Keep it authentic and true to your leadership journey!
Platform for Submission
Upload to Vimeo and send a downloadable link to [email protected].
With the following information:
- Name
- Age
- School
- Parent / Guardian Mobile
- Signed Parent / Guardian Consent Form (Attach – See below)
- Title of Clip
- 100 words about the story and inspiration of your clip

Create a 60-Second Video (Landscape):
Show yourself taking on a challenge, making a tough decision, or leading in a way that benefits others.

- It can be a real moment you’ve experienced or a creative reenactment.
- Think about how you faced something hard and made the right choice, or how you helped others in a tough situation.
For example, these could be moments where you:
🔥 Stood up for something you believed in.
💪 Overcame fear to take on a challenge that helped others.
🚀 Chose kindness or integrity when no one was watching.
Submit Your Video
Film between April – July (submit before August 1, 2025).
- Upload your video to Vimeo and send the downloadable link to us via email.
Win and Get Featured!
- Three winning videos will be featured in a Next Gen short film, showcased across Australia!
